Please note that not every counselor on our team is credentialed with every insurance provider or plan. Because each insurance company offers many different plans, we recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to confirm that your specific plan is in-network with the counselor you wish to see. You can do this by calling the customer service number listed on the back of your insurance card.

Insurance coverage can vary widely between plans, and your insurance provider is the best source for accurate information about your benefits. A quick call to your provider can help you better understand your coverage and any potential out-of-pocket costs before scheduling your appointment.

When speaking with your insurance provider, we recommend asking the following questions:

1. Is Peaceful Minds Counseling or (counselor's name) in-network with my plan?
2. Does my health insurance plan include mental health or behavioral health benefits?
3. Do I have a deductible? If so, what is the amount and have I met it yet? (Please note: sessions may not be covered until your deductible has been met for the year.)
4. What is my co-pay for mental health services? (This is the amount you may be responsible for at each session after insurance is applied.)
